KARL STORZ IMAGE1 H3-M COVIEW camera head for operating microscopes, delivering Full HD imaging with three CCD sensors, C-MOUNT connection and a detachable 900 cm cable.
The KARL STORZ IMAGE1 HD COVIEW® camera head is a professional three-chip FULL HD camera designed specifically for integration with operating microscopes. It belongs to the IMAGE1 FULL HD camera family and is intended for medical imaging applications where detailed, high-quality visualization is required.
The camera uses three 1/3-inch CCD image sensors to capture high-quality color images. Its progressive-scan architecture provides smooth image acquisition and supports natural visualization of the endoscopic or microscopic image.
The three-chip configuration separates the image into its primary color components, supporting detailed color reproduction and clear visualization of anatomical structures. The IMAGE1 FULL HD platform was designed with particular attention to image quality and signal-to-noise performance.
The H3-M COVIEW® version is specifically configured for microscopy. Unlike camera heads incorporating their own lens system, the COVIEW® camera head uses a C-MOUNT connection for coupling to compatible operating microscopes.
This configuration allows the camera to be integrated into an operating microscope setup and used as part of a medical video imaging chain.
The camera head has a compact design measuring approximately 45 × 50 × 60 mm and weighs approximately 240 g. Its configuration is intended to facilitate integration with compatible microscopy equipment without adding unnecessary bulk to the imaging setup.
The camera incorporates two freely programmable buttons, allowing frequently used functions to be assigned directly to the camera head according to the compatible system configuration.
The H3-M COVIEW® features a detachable camera cable with a length of approximately 900 cm. This configuration provides additional flexibility when positioning the camera in an operating-room or microscopy environment.
The IMAGE1 H3-M COVIEW® camera head is designed for use with compatible KARL STORZ IMAGE1 camera control units, including the IMAGE1 HUB HD and IMAGE1 HD Camera Control Unit specified in the manufacturer's documentation.
