Olympus CF Type Q160L is a versatile EVIS EXERA colono/sigmoidovideoscope with a 140° field of view, 180°/160° angulation, 3.7mm channel, and auxiliary water function for clear, effective colonoscopy.
The Olympus CF-Q160L is an EVIS EXERA colonovideoscope designed for colonoscopic examination and treatment. It combines clear, sharp imaging with a large image display, auxiliary water capability, a wide field of view, extensive angulation, and a large instrument channel. These features make the CF-Q160L a versatile solution for both diagnostic observation and therapeutic procedures in the colon.
The CF-Q160L is designed to provide sharp and clear images with a large image size. The large display area helps enhance the visibility of details across the image plane, supporting detailed observation during colonoscopic examinations.
The scope incorporates an auxiliary water function designed to help maintain a clear view during colonoscopy. When used with a dedicated flushing pump and the Olympus CV-160 video system center, water can be delivered through the scope to help remove mucus and stool from inside the colon. The water function can be activated using a switch on the scope, allowing cleaning during the examination without interrupting the procedure.
The CF-Q160L provides an extra-wide 140° field of view with a forward viewing direction. Its optical system offers a depth of field from 3 to 100 mm, allowing observation across a broad range of working distances.
The bending section provides extensive four-way angulation to support navigation and positioning during colonoscopy. The scope can be angulated up and down to 180° and right and left to 160°, providing the operator with substantial control when navigating the colon and positioning the distal tip for observation or treatment.
