Olympus CV-180 Endoscopy System

The Olympus CV-180 complete endoscopy system is a video tower designed to deliver consistent image quality across endoscopic and laparoscopic procedures. Built around an HDTV processor and a dedicated xenon light source, it's aimed at facilities looking to equip a full endoscopy suite — from the processor through to the mobile cart, including the scopes themselves.

Main components

• Olympus CV-180 video processor — handles high-definition (HDTV) imaging and video signal processing from the endoscope. Supplied with a pigtail, it forms the core of the system, managing display output, image storage, and compatibility across several endoscope generations.
• Olympus CLV-180 xenon light source — a 300-watt xenon lamp with a backlit front panel and automatic light intensity adjustment to achieve ideal illumination depending on the type of examination.
• Compatible Olympus EVIS EXERA II scopes — the system accepts a wide range of videoscopes, including 180 series colonoscopes and gastroscopes, as well as EVIS 100/130/140 and EVIS EXERA 160 series scopes, bronchoscopes, and surgical endoscopes.
• Keyboard, video cables, and fiber optics — enable patient data entry, processor control, and transmission of the light and video signal between the system's components, ensuring smooth integration from the camera head through to the monitor.
• Medical-grade HD monitor — provides real-time, high-resolution display of the endoscopic image, essential for precise tissue observation and reliable clinical decision-making.
