The OLYMPUS CF-H180AI EVIS EXERA II is a high-definition colonoscope designed to provide clear and detailed visualization of the colon. Featuring HDTV imaging, Narrow Band Imaging (NBI), and an extra-wide 170° field of view, it supports detailed mucosal observation and helps clinicians identify anatomical features during endoscopic examinations.
NBI enhances the visibility of superficial mucosal structures, while the Close Focus function allows detailed examination of areas near the distal tip by simply bringing the endoscope closer to the area of interest.
The CF-H180AI features an auxiliary water function that can be used with a dedicated irrigation pump. This configuration facilitates mucosal cleaning during examinations by allowing targeted rinsing of areas containing mucus or residual material. The function can be activated from the endoscope or through a compatible footswitch.
To improve maneuverability during insertion, the CF-H180AI incorporates Innoflex Variable Stiffness technology. This allows the stiffness of the insertion tube to be adjusted according to the conditions encountered during the examination. The design helps provide controlled handling and adaptation to the contours of the colon.
