Olympus CLE-3 is a compact halogen light source for endoscopy. It uses an EFR 15 V/150 W lamp to provide dependable illumination for compatible Olympus endoscopic equipment.
The OLYMPUS CLV-U40 light source is designed to provide powerful and consistent illumination for Olympus endoscopes, including videoscopes and fiberscopes. It uses a 300 W xenon lamp and incorporates an insufflation pump to support the functions required during endoscopic procedures.
The CLV-U40 provides automatic light intensity adjustment for video imaging while also allowing manual control by the operator. Brightness can be adjusted in ½ EV increments, while air and water pressure can be set to four different levels.
If the main xenon lamp fails, a 150 W halogen backup lamp can automatically take over to maintain illumination. An indicator on the front panel provides information about the system status.
The transillumination function can temporarily increase light intensity to assist in checking the position of the operating field from outside the body before returning to the previous setting.
