The OLYMPUS CLV-S45 is a light source designed for endoscopic procedures requiring powerful, stable, and precise illumination. Equipped with a 300 W xenon lamp, it provides intense light to support clear and detailed visualization of tissue during examinations.
The CLV-S45 can automatically adjust light intensity according to the requirements of the procedure when connected to a compatible video system using an appropriate light control cable. This regulation helps maintain suitable illumination of the area being examined while simplifying operation.
The light can be placed in standby or switched off directly from the front panel or by using a remote switch located on the camera head. This configuration allows the illumination to be controlled quickly during use.
The intensity-mode memory also retains the previous setting, allowing the system to automatically restore the configuration used during the last operation.
With the OLYMPUS MAJ-1200 universal adapter, the CLV-S45 can also be used with certain non-Olympus light guide cables. This provides greater flexibility when integrating the light source into different endoscopy configurations.
If the main xenon lamp fails, an integrated backup halogen lamp can automatically take over to maintain the illumination required to continue the procedure.
A digital display indicates the lamp operating time, allowing users to monitor lamp usage and facilitate maintenance planning.
