Vidéoscope WA50042A

Olympus ENDOEYE HD II WA50042A 10 mm rigid videoscope with 30° viewing direction, HD chip-on-tip imaging, NBI and fog-free function for clear visualization during laparoscopic procedures.

OLYMPUS ENDOEYE HD II WA50042A – HD Rigid Videoscope

The OLYMPUS ENDOEYE HD II WA50042A is a 10 mm rigid videoscope designed for endoscopic procedures requiring clear and detailed visualization. Its chip-on-the-tip technology places the image sensor directly at the distal tip, providing high-definition imaging with natural color reproduction, good contrast, and uniform illumination.

Its optical architecture provides a 21–200 mm depth of field, allowing sharp images to be maintained across a wide range of distances without manual focusing. This design facilitates the observation of anatomical structures during procedures and supports smooth handling throughout the intervention.

Imaging and Integrated Technologies

The WA50042A features an integrated anti-fog function designed to maintain clear visualization during procedures. It also supports Narrow Band Imaging (NBI) technology, designed to enhance the visibility of vascular structures and mucosal surfaces.

With a 90° field of view and a 30° viewing direction, the videoscope provides a suitable viewing angle for different operative situations. Its handle incorporates three control buttons for quick access to the system’s available functions.

Reprocessing and Design

The WA50042A is designed to be compatible with several reprocessing methods, including autoclaving, ETO, STERRAD, and washer-disinfector processing, according to the applicable procedures and conditions for the device. This design facilitates its integration into clinical reprocessing protocols.
