KARL STORZ FLEX-X²S Flexible Ureteroscope (11278 A1)

The FLEX-X²S is a flexible uretero-renoscope from KARL STORZ, built for full access to the upper urinary tract. It replaces the standard fiber optics of earlier FLEX-X models with a double-fiber bundle, which increases image detail without changing the outer diameter.

  • Available with positive ("European") or contrapositive ("American") deflection mechanism
  • Shock-resistant deflection system with passive components for easier navigation in the upper tract

  • Laserite ceramic insulation at the distal end, protecting against thermal damage during laser use

Sterilization and Storage

The 39402 AS plastic container is made for gas and hydrogen peroxide (Sterrad) sterilization and storage, with room for endoscopes up to 95 cm working length. Note: fiberscopes can only be sterilized with gas and plasma in this container, and the instrument itself is sold separately.
